The goal is to bring back traditional values such as rigorous education and respect for teachers back into the Quebec school system. “When we are proud of our school, we stay in school and succeed,” stated Charest.
The new plan will not be put in place immediately. Charest plans to team up with the English school system to work on slowly changing the existing educational model over the next five years.
